Default google count bookmarks/favorites

I understand google has an in depth algorithm but I often wonder if google can tell whether a visitor has clicked a bookmark to get to a site. I can't remeber where I read it one time, but someone mentioned that google counts referals from bookmarks towards serps and PR.

What do you think? Is it possible?

From what I understand google treats bookmarks just like links from any other page.
