could someone explain to me what exactly is PR? How do you get/improve it? I've heard it called pagerank, public relations, etc. what is it, and what is stuff such as "PR3" or PR6"?

You can also get some good information on forums.digitalpoint.com. They have a whole section on Google that consists mostly of PageRank stuff, and somewhere there is a link to the algorythm that controls it.
