Default How to increase Google PR

Hey everyone,
Is the best way to increase your page rank to have backlinks from sites that have higher PR OR more incoming links.

As I understand PR applies to pages and not entire sites correct? So one of my sub pages like about.htm could have a higher PR then my homepage?

What has worked for you?

thanks

yes thats right, but you can have evenly distributed PR if you have good linking structure in your site..

Nice point ~boohlick

I just read somewhere the other day that site maps with good anchor text help pass PR to your internal pages.

Jusy remember that google must crawl your all your pages to be able to get PR in all your pages. For this you can submit your sitemap to google sitemap.
First you have to make a sitemap in xml form, then name it sitemap.xml..
Finally submit it to google sitemap..

to be honest you'll need many links from lower PR sites 1-4 to get a googd ranking or you can get a few links from a higher PR site 5-10 to get a good PR ranking.

Anyone else find this?

And to get your website crawled by google it is easier to submit it to directores and get a link there than use the google submission url.

Did i mentioned "google submission"? I dont think so. Well I said to submit it to "GOOGLE SITEMAP".. and BTW submissioin to directories takes weeks to be crawled! when if submitted it to G Sitemap it only takes hours IMHO
