Default google vs yahoo

I think that for google keyword density is dead. You can have the best keyword density on the planet but if a PR6 site has the keyword once then it gets the top positon and ot your lesser website.
While this stops people marketing to searchers by designing webpages for this purpose surely a website with the keyword once or twice in it is not going to hold the answer for most questions?

I'm beginning to think that yahoo gives better results than google.

The SE has diffrent algo in giving us result... google, after the bourbon update, give more point to a site if it has more quality links pointing to it,Quality links means, Links that has the same theme as your site and has a good content
While yahoo, as i know gives importance both BL and InPage factors in ranking. But it come to a point that yahoo will do the same thing as google.

I know that google gives much more enphasis on keywords in the titles of linking text and in the webpage.

i.e. Glof pros click here (if that was a link, and your keywords were "golf pros")

or www.yourwebsite.com/golfpros.html

don't know about yahoo, but this is also the case for MSN.

We have different analysis on how SE's ranking algo.. but anyway i guess it helps anyone who have read it coz it gives them the choices on what approach to be no 1..
