Since you started focusing on SEO (link building) have you made more money online. Do you think you could make money online just focusing on Quantity of content?
Ofcourse SEO can help you a lot if you are targeting the right part. The main thing is what you are pitching in market through your site and how? Means what is your promotional activities whether it is based on quality content or link building. I'm earning a lot online but I'm getting it through PPC or with some popular lead generation programme.
It has helped by driving more traffic to my sites which in turn convert into sales and/or clicks. I watch my traffic sources very closely to see what my incoming traffic trends are (I use Google analytics). If I spend a month or two concentrating heavily on SEO for a site, I expect to see the incoming traffic sources start to favor search engines rather than referrals. Likewise, if I am concentrating on link building for a set time, I expect to see referral sites be the dominating source for inbound traffic.
If the results are not there, I change my SEO tactics to something else. There is no set defined way to build traffic. You have to experiment for each site and for each niche and find what works the most effectively.
