I never really got the idea of link exchange, some people have crap, literally nothing on their website and yet they have rank 2 want wants a link exchange -_- with contents people will come back and visit, but just with ranks its not going anywhere

Link exchanges are pointless if you don't have content on the site in question.

How can you say that backlink is important it will help site to rank at Major search engine I think content will not give you rank unless you give your site quality backlinks.

Link exchange comes nowhere close to articles and content when it comes to delivering targeted traffic to your site
