Default google rank update?? a pagerank 8??
my site was pagerank of 4, but my google toolbar saying it was pagerank of 8, weird

maybe toolbarr bug..

Try refreshing, the toolbar PR can sometimes stick from the site you last visited. I once had a PR9 for a whole day.

Internet Explorer is not very reliable, try checking same with FireFox and other tools.
