Online marketing with Google PPC or SEO is both a matter of patience. I have learnt it the hard way, I had first got my website submitted on search engines for organic search results. I waited patiently hoping that my website would soon appear on the first page. After a wait of some 15-20 odd days my sight did appear but only on the third page.

I then tried opting for Google paid searches where I bid on low competition niche with good in-demand keywords, but failed with only two sales in the whole week. Not realizing how to go about it I kept experimenting with different keywords and different result positions, results are showing and I now feel more confident.

But I am still worried if my technique is right? Or should I be doing something else too in order to make sure that my results are positive?

Yes its all about patience,
but you can't just stand and watch continue to build links, optimize your site and then you don't need to submit your site to SE.. if you' have gotten enough quality links they will found you themselves.
