I just put my own websites on qassia which is a free kind of backlinks service. As long as you put your own websites up and provide some content (which is what's on your website right?) you get content sensitive quality backlinks.

I don't see why google would frown on this. The back links are content relevant. Really it's just like another kind of wikipedia in the sense that it is a giant collection of content that is related to websites or posted/stored independent of any website.

Like I said, I thought it was kind of cool. I don't even really fully understand it to be honest.
