php css repeating... eek!

hi, this is quite hard to explain but i will try my hardest...

i am trying to use php to control my css, i need the php to make my div's repeat down a page (got that working) but i have the css background image being controlled by the php, and each repeat should return a differing image form the date base, however each repeat brings back the same image...

can anyone shed any light, or if i've explained it badly ask a specific question that i can answer?

thanks for replying buddy, i left this question almost a month ago now, and obviously have since fixed the errors as you can see. forgot i even posted this topic, i'll see about removing it
