File download

Hi all,
Could anyone tell me how to put a link on the page to a file which will download to there computer.

For example I have a online CV and want to let people download the cv file to the computer via a link on the page

not sure what you are asking? Sounds like you just need to upload the CV (not sure what that is) file to the server and create an anchor tag <a href="locate_of_file">somename</a>. Don't think you need php to help out at all.

Well one way is compress files using zip and then calling headers with zip file. Message me for the ziplib where in you can zip your files using a simple ziplib class.
