ok, so i know that a scrolling text can be added to html pages, but i was wondering if it could be addedd to php pages. i have an index.php page, and was wondering if that was possible. Thanks in advance...

yeah
just add the html code to the php page. either use the echo command, or end the php block, add the code, and start it again.

thanks for replying, can you explain what an echo command is, ive tried to mock other echo's that ive seen , but i dont know how to apply this here....

the echo command in PHP is like a print command. you can print plain text(echo "Hello, World!"; ), values of variables (echo $var; ) or even HTML (echo "<b>Hello, World!"; ).

so for your purpose use
echo "<marquee>I'm scrolling!</marquee>";
