w3school is pretty amazing

I'm using w3schools but it's hard to remember everything -- so I'm doing what I ddi with HTML and CSS. I go through scripts I already use and rework them, so I understand how it works.

Just my 2 cents.

For myself, the most effective and most enjoyable method was from viewing sources, more particularly towards functions I had been interested in using in the near future.

You learn a lot of equally useful, or alternate methods in the process, while beginning with a goal.
