Default Unable to save session values....Urgent

Hi
I have a website which was developed in 2 languages.My Previous coder has used session values to display the static text part of the website based on the languages selection. i.e. he is storing a complete language file into session, based on the language selection. Other than this he has used too much session values.

Because of excessive use of session values, now system is not able to save session values. It shows error when user login.

"Warning: Unknown: open(/var/chroot/home/content/42/7504142/tmp/sess_qk7dokpknth57pd87vso9iaef6, O_RDWR) failed: File too large (27) in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct () in Unknown on line 0"

I have tried to increase the PHP memory limit but it is still not working.
Please let me know how can I solve this problem with some minimal changes rather than complete code change(using other methods instead of storing language file in session etc,).

Please reply as soon as possible as my users are not able to login.

Thanks in advance

Pritesh

Kindly check that somewhere in your website the session_id should not be set blank, for example
Quote:
session_id("");
If this is happening, test by removing it, or getting some value in the session_id.
You can also check to see if you have proper Write permission in your tmp folder that stores sessions.
