Default page age

Hi, I've written some code that drags pages off the web in a similar way to a search engine. What I need to do with these pages is find out how old they are i.e. the publication date or some other indication of there approxiamate age. Does anyone know if such info is available and if so how to get it?

Well you can get the domain age at http://www.webconfs.com but why would you remove a site thats old???
its good to keep sites that have been and will be around for a while

thats a good shout but the domain age tool is sketchy, try it out on a few pages and see what you think. You've obviously made your own assumptions about why i want the age of a site, i'm not ditching old pages i just want to know their age. It's proving trickier than i thought.
