Animated gifs provide one way, although admittedly a little deceiving, of letting your users know something is happening when you have processing going on in the background.
Unfortunately, with IE, when the user clicks that processing button, the little gif you have set up to show some motion stops until the processing is completed, defeating the purpose of using the gif in the first place.
Anyone have a solution to this problem?
