How do companies check their customer's credit? Is there a web service? somebody know how much does that service cost and how hard/easy is it to implement in a web page?
My problem is this, I'm going to be in business soon, and I need to be able to check the credit of my possible customers before accept him/her as a customer.

If you're UK based (not sure about US integration yet) you can use postcodeanywhere.co.uk - I'm sure theres a US equivalent. It checks that the dank details are valid. Full credit checks however must be done by a bank (I believe...)

well i think there are some criteria to judge the credit worthiness of clients website and ratings are given for the same
