Default Can PHP get Perl Data

Hi,

I have two applications, one Perl one PHP. Both applications require logins. When someone logs into the Perl application, they have the choice of switching to the PHP application. I want them be able to switch to the PHP application *without* having to login a second time.

Is this possible? What would be the best/secure method doing this?

There are ways to do this, but I can't recommend any method without knowing more about the architecture. Otherwise, security may be compromised.

Ofcourse it is possible.
Use DB for that.
If a user logs-in in perl app set some flag in your DB in some table and when the same user switches to PHP app then fetch the same flag from DB if set automatically log-in him/her.

For extra security, you can use encrypted string as flag .
