Is not easy I can tell you. Because the code that dreamweaver produces is very "heavy", and you spend a lot of time just trying to find were you have to place the php parts. If you are going to code php I will recommend you not to use dreamweaver but instead to code the site "manually" in html. Is not that hard and the results are better.

Agree with webbom. If you code manually then you'll have a more clean code. But there are many webdevelopers, especialy beginers who use dreamwaver. Start by coding from text editor mode. Every php code starts with <?php and ends with ?>. There are and some variations but this is default.

Just manually enter codes in the code tab. It will automatically start suggesting snippets of code for you. Just make sure you know what you are doing though. It gets messy in any editor but Dreamweaver is pretty good with PHP.
