Hey i was wondering if any one could help me with creating a mailing list, id rather not use any down-loadable software because its for a client..
what iv got is a form and when u add your email address and check a check box it saves your email to a .txt file saved on the web server.. i was able to add this into me page by using this tutorial:

phptutorial.info/scripts/mailinglist/ (Sorry cant add link till iv posted 15 times or something)

but now what i need to do is see if there's a way of getting those emails and automatically adding them to an email client.

if any one could help me with this it would be awesome..

Can you give me a better indication of what email client you are using? In most cases, can't you just simply copy and paste the contents of the .txt document into the email client?

That is how my email listing works with myhosting.com's email services. To better help you though, I need to know what client you are using for mail.

Another thing you should consider is to use third party services for the list. Like for example Aweber. One of the problems you can face is that if you are sending a lot of emails, the email providers can see you as spam. Since those services are white listed by the email providers, their emails don't reach the spam folder as often.
