I was asked to write a script that would allow users for a site to upload pictures. The site is pure HTML and looks like it's from the late 90s, so i'll need to make it database driven with mysql and the image script is fairly straight forward. I do not like doing the actual design of sites, so i'll leave it alone.

How much should I charge to do this, note this is a side project and I have a degree in Computer Science.

Decide what is your rate and how much time do you expect to spend on this. For example 30$/hour, 16 hours work(two full days - 8 hours for example) 30*16 = 480

For this work I would charge for full week or 40 hours.

It costs on designing + coding and time duration to complete the site. So identify these points for your site and upon that you can set the development charge.
