Angry PHP & text fields

My form written in PHP & XHTML - the periods are turning into question marks! but not all of them only the ones in 2s or more.

Example: "etc..." becomes "etc???"

Ive tried replacing both the text periods (.) and question marks (?) with ASCII code. Its not working!! Nothing is working!!

Im at my wits end and Im about to SCREAMMMM!!

Please help, thank you.

Default Re: PHP & text fields

Where in your website's form are the periods appearing when you originally display the page? Value attributes? Name attributes? Regular content? If you are putting them in the name attributes you are going to have problems. Don't put any funny characters in the name attribute of your input tags.
