Competition/Statistics/Results Website

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are well.

I am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction with the following:-

I am in the process of designing a site but have hit a brick wall!! I am trying to create a script/module where a user is able to enter a competiton online and after a round of voting by other users a competition winner is chosen (highest votes - possibly having a 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc). Now it will be gallery based - I am currently torn between coppermine and possiblly a few others (thats not the problem!!) - but I am struggling with the "statistics/results/league table" part.

I have wasted a long time googling but havent come up with much so was hoping you guys may have any ideas of what i can use, or amend or anything really!!

I came across this site DPChallenge - A Digital Photography Contest and like the way it works - as a registered member it give you a profile and statistic (comps entered, avg scores etc) and feel this is how I would love mine to work.

I dont mind starting from scratch but if i could build upon something else (such as coppermine) i'd feel better about it!

Anyway let me know your thoughts....thanks in advance
