I certainly agree with this. It's one of the barriers in India - communication. Indians are not actually good in English but there is a lot of very good talent available in India. The trick is selecting the good from the bad, as there are also large numbers of people who have poor skills and attitudes.

A great alternative to India for low cost staff members is Philippines ne particular advantage of the Philippines is that their accent when speaking English is a lot milder than in India, and closer to a US accent.

I feel that outsourcing companies tend to lack enthusiasm to working. Many countries in Asia such as India have talented individuals, however many of these individuals are working for companies, hence aren't really fully involved with day to day running/tickets etc. I prefer hiring individuals as they're most likely easier to motivate and monitor progress.

yeah you're right, India and Philippines were competing in offshore outsourcing. I think Philippines has the most english community. That's our advantage over India, we could easily understand what our clients need.
