There was this one place I used to go to learn C++, but I forgot what it was. I stopped on Chapter 5 of it and moved on to another tutorial. I'm going to try to find it now.

There are multiple tutorials freely available on the web, you just need to google "c++ tutorial".

here are some of my first hits, and they look good too

www.cplusplus.com/doc/language/tutorial/
http://www.zib.de/visual/people/muel.../tutorial.html

Probably the best possible option is to take the legendary C++ book "Thinking in C++" by Bruce Eckel. Its a long, however a very interesting book. You can get the ebook free here:
http://www.mindview.net/Books/TICPP/...ngInCPP2e.html

It was a sort of mini revolution when he released the ebook free quite soem time back.

You cna also buy the printed book from your regular bookstore. Its worth buying a hard copy

Theres a book called C++ game programming by Micheal Dawson. Its a good book and easy to understand because they teach it from a game creaters point of view. Like instead of teaching you "Hello World" they teach you how to output "Game Over". You can get it from a book store. I got mines from barnes and nobles. You can also get it from amazon.

there are some video tutorials available at http://www.3dbuzz.com i haven't checked them out, so i don't know how good they are. the introduction ones (about 2 hours are free) and the others (about 7 hours) you need pay money and become a member of the site.

Once again, i havent used the tutorials so i dont know how good they are, however i have used tutorials on that site for 3d animation software and they were very good.

i hope that helps a bit
