Hey I am trying to have a Page View counter added to my page, BUT. I need it to be limited and unable to abuse.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could go about this.


I have a Page Views displayed, the problem being that currently if you spam refresh the page that counter will keep going up.

I'm not sure how to go about limiting it is it possible to make it only count a view if the page is viewed for over a certain amount of time? Say you must view the page for 3 minutes before the counter will actually count your page view? How would I go about coding something like this Can anyone help with the code? My site is done in ASP

Any help or additional ideas on how to make this not abuse-able would be much appreciated. The reason being I plan to pay my users based on their page views and obviously, abuse of the page views would be costly to me.
