I’ve noticed so many websites offering registry cleaner freeware of many top programs. What is the truth behind it? Can a top registry cleaner be downloaded for free? I just want to know whether free ones are really effective for my PC. And, please recommend me the names of some trusted registry cleaners for Windows Vista. Thanks a lot!

Can you download good free ones? Definitely. CCleaner is about the best. (I can't post URLs yet, but if you search ccleaner, you'll find it.)
