Hi,

I want to connect my c++ code (running on Linux platform) to Oracle database which exist on another Remote Linux machine working with Netbeans IDE 6.9.1 (GCC compiler 4.1.2) please help me how i can connect my c++ code to Oarcle existing on remote machine

To connect to Oracle from C++ you have to use OCI API.

find /opt/oracle/product/9.2.0 -name occi.h

Use the path you find to the file like this:

$ g++ -L/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/lib \
-L/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/rdbms/lib \
-I opt/oracle/product/9.2.0<path you found>
-o test.o -c test.cpp

use Oracle oci libraries to do the connection. They ship both 32 and 64 bit libraries
