Visual Basic is easy to use although its not much used anymore, difficulty you face in concepts such as logic are going to be the same in any language. on the othe had Java is still widely used, its more than just web applications. and is fairly easy to understand.

VB is easy but it is dying.
though C is hard to learn but it is a promising language.
when you finish learn VB but you need C to do a job It's hard to learn C that time....
