Default Joomla CMS vulnerability in older versions

Multiple XSS vulnerabilities have been found within Joomla, to prevent any intrusions Webmasters must update to the latest version.

As always and with any CMS (or any other software for that matter), it's a good idea to keep up with security updates. Unforunately, with CMSs that can sometimes cause problems with plug-in/add-on and theme compatibility problems. Usually you can update for your major release version and avoid this problem, though. For example, if you are running a Drupal 6 site, you don't need to update to Drupal 7 for security updates; just make sure your at the latest Drupal 6 release and you'll be fine.

i dont think that is realy the thing..If i now use 1.7 ,that version will be sure like now in 2019..Ofcorse new version it is better,but i dot think it wll matter that much..

My considering for this spot was to keep it easy. Also, I realized if people
want to do something other than the conventional concept (with or without
version), they can always do a tool (in which situation it won't perform with
Webmaster tools).
