well i think all the important documents,necessary files and important figurative worksheets which are the basis of the work should be baked up and should be saved from future attack of virus or other crunches

I always create backup for my entire home directory including source files, pictures, .... I also always get backup from my databases in mysql. If you have linux server you can easily get backup of your home using " tar" command.

Daily: ongoing projects, preferences, address book, calendar, 1password database and everything on the desktop

Weekly: Music, movies
