I read last week that Staples is offering online backup...Mozy, in fact, under the label Thrive.
Thrive Online Backup costs US$10 for every 10G bytes. Do you think that's a good deal?

I would check out Olive Labs > Home - Managed IT Solutions, best bang for the buck especially if you have multiple different platforms you are trying to backup. Pricing starts at $1 / GB and goes down from there.

In my opinion, mozy.com offers best backup services. It will store 2 gigabytes worth of your files for free or an unlimited amount for $4.95 per month. You can download and install the Mozy program and it does all the work. In this backup should be set up once, and then work automatically. Backup files should be encrypted and stored in a secure, remote location that's only accessible to you from anywhere.

There doesn't seem to be too much information on the Olive Labs website.
In fact, they do a poor job of outlining online backup plans. I'm assuming they just started this company, in which case I'll wait until they ramp up significantly before taking another look.

AOL Xdrive is one of the free online backup deals i have heard. There are more such good backup deals that are giving their services free or some are charging for providing services. But the one thing that matters the most is that to look after cost each time might be not good as one should go on for good and proper services in spite of looking back for money always. So just simply go for appropriate services and if they are free so it will be the best option for you.

MozyPro is considerably less expensive than competing online backup services.Mozy does not enable file sharing, nor does it have advanced business features, but it will back up Exchange and SQL server data. It is both Mac and PC compatible.
