So far I've tried Mozy for free. It was a minor hassle setting it up, but what do you want for free? The service works pretty well, it's less to worry about knowing there's a copy of my files safe and sound in case my hard drive goes...again.

I am using online backup services provided by a private company. Usually privatized solutions are far better than public ones because customer support is more friendly and reliable, even if also more expensive.
