Basically, there are two kinds of backup systems, one which is used for backing up your local system data and another which is R1Soft CDP solution used for backing up server data. Remote Backups reduces the risk of data loss and it almost reduce risk factor by 98%. On the other hand encrypted data transfer process enhance the security.

Hi,

I'm a graphic designer in NYC and I have lots of important files scattered on 2 computers and 3 external drives. This is my experience and what I learned from it - the hard way - so hopefully you won’t have to go through the same frustration!

I tried different services too and I experienced the same problems you’ve had.
They seem to work at first, but then the backups and restores begin to fail consistently. Apparently, my unreliable Internet connection was always the cause of the issues, until I was finally convinced of that and I switched to another Internet provider. And guess what? The backups and restores continued to fail!

I was SO frustrated! So, I started doing some research and I learned that the data centers of these online backup companies are actually located very far away from NY, so the data always has to go through so many connections and there are a ton of things that can go wrong!

Their technician came to my office and did a customized installation for both my 2 computers and my 3 external hard drives. He tested both backups and restores and even trained me!
