What Dediserv said, you can recover delleted files as long as you haven't used the hard drive much.. Basically the more you ue the drive the greater chance there is that the computer will write over the old "deleted files", files don't actually get vanished, they get marked as "deleted" which just makes it invisible to the system

What was your operating system. If it is windows you can recover your data by using Windows Data recovery software. you can download that software from stellarinfo.com.
