Thank you Keep on Please............JavaScript is a simple scripting language invented specifically for use in web browsers to make websites more dynamic. On its own, HTML is capable of outputting more-or-less static pages. Once you load them up your view doesn't change much until you click a link to go to a new page. Adding JavaScript to your code allows you to change how the document looks completely, from changing text, to changing colours, to changing the options available in a drop-down list (and much, much more!).

Hello
After learning HTML and JavaScript, you made some pages and checked them in Internet Explorer. They looked lovely and the JavaScript code functioned beautifully. But the moment you saw the pages in Netscape, your headaches started. You finally gave up hope convincing yourself that browser incompatibility is here to stay. Sure it is and it's the main reason for many sleepless nights. However, most of these differences can be resolved easily.

Here I present some HTML and JavaScript tricks and tips that I have picked up over the years. Remember that the best way to tackle a problem is to use some common sense and some logic.

The latest additions to this section are displayed on the left. The older tips and tricks can be found in the archives.

The HTML and JavaScript tips and tricks presented in this section cover a vast range of issues faced by web developers including browser incompatibility, HTML forms, images, frames etc.
