Just trying to gauge if Web hosts are promoting this service extensively...I know Hostway and Verio are.

Is it important to have a backup from a Web host? I'll try to look for some web hosts that does this.

I believe it's a good fit for your Web hosting provider to offer the service; they already have the servers, storage capacity and the technical know how.

I'm using online backup at work... But it is not on the web, it is an internal server. I think it is very usefull but a bit slow.
