Just joined up. I'm interested in all aspects of the Web (hosting, marketing, online sales etc.) and more recently voice over IP and domain name acquisitions...hoping to cash in on the move (eventually) to alternative fuels.

Hey, welcome to the site.. i know VOIP sure has alot of phone companies in a worry.. im sure they will do their best to kill all the small voip companies

When Google Talk entered the fray, VoIP providers were shuddering.
Same deal when they introduced Google Page Creator (beta), web hosts are in a tizzy...it's free and if all you need is a hobby or brochure site, it's a good way to start building a presence. Unfortunately for us, it's already oversubscribed. But that's a much needed break for the small hosts, right?
