Hi Im new and have an urge to become a website creating freak !!!
Hi, My names GeekRockerGal (or grg for short), Im 20, a student and happily taken. I know the basic of HTML and VB coding and in sept. will be learning how to code in C++.
Every since I took my first website design class last year, Ive had this every growing obession to create in every detailed way possiable my own website. In my mind it ranges from creating login/sign up forms, managing databases, uploading my own programs I create in VB and C++, creating my own forum, allowing registered users to place their own site template, allowing registered users to tell me what they want to see on my site for other people to use, creating my own user counter, creating my own chat and showbox, creating my own admin panel where I can say what mods, users and guests can do around my site, saying who can affiliate with me, making HTML adverts and banners to get site traffic, I want to host my site, I want to create my url name and the list goes on.
I want my website to be a HUGE success, I want my site to be poplular like I never have been, I want my site to be the most talked about ect, I want to be a coding wizard (lol) I want managers to beg me to build their websites and pay me loads, I want to learn everything possiable about the different types of coding (php mysql, htm. xhtml) I want to create my own website program (like dreamweaver).
Well thats basically it. I did warn you in the tittle that I want to become a website creating freak (lol) I want to do this along side my technician job (if I ever get one) I want my job role to be senior technician and website mangement. Ive already got the no-how to do the technician side of things (I have a level 2 city & guilds and national dipolama level3 edexcel qualifactions) Im going on to do a 2 year foundation degree in communcations and computer networks in 3 weeks time
I just want to better my abilities and do things I never thought where pos.
Sorry for making you read the equivalent of an essay but thank you for reading I hope there are people or programs out there that can teach me.
I am a dedictated and willing to learn student who will put in more than the time and effort that is required to achive my goals
