Default Loadbalancer for Linux

I have a few old PIII server and I was thinking of using them to spread the load. Are there softwares that could do this or a simple how-to on these?

Thanks for the help

There are some to install for the linux, but I really suggest you buy a proper hardware loadbalancer for this. Would be more stable BUT could be expensive.

I found something to turn a linux into something like a SQL loadbalancer

Should be something similiar.
but a dedicated hardware to do that would be much better.
