Default adding a paypal button to your site

I have checked the paypal site, but kinda shrugged my shoulders and walked away. I'm looking to start accepting donations for site maintenance, etc. but I'm not a business, do not earn any profits, therefor how can I set this up as an indvidual and not have to worry about the IRS?

Thanks,

Josh

Sorry to say...You have to "worry" about the IRS either way...

shoot... so I have to register as a business with paypal in order to accept paypal donations? Can't I just put the button on my site and then a url that points to my paypal user account somehow?

You don't have to be a business! You can get personal donations buttons in the "Merchant Tools" section.

IRS will get you for alot of things, but I doubt donations are one of them; even if not all preceeds go to your website haha
