Default Pay Per Click OR Pay Per Sale?

Which do you prefer?

I prefer pay per click, its just easier to get someone to click a link then to buy something. But if pay per sale is awesome if you make a website targeted directly towards certain products. Atleast, for me, thats the only way it has worked.

I'm lookign at it the other way as starting my own. I've found it harder to get people to join PPc and PPL programs than PPS.

The person providing will prefer Pay Per Sale since you pay only when you make money, but for a publisher, they will prefer a Pay Per Click or Pay Per View type as they are not going to be so concerned about if the customer buys or not as a sale does not come instantly but maybe months down the road.

I have a website targetted towards computer products and have a pps and ppc program on it, but the ppc outperforms the pps. It's just so hard to get someone to buy something, and if they do, you'll make like $3 at most off of it, which is probably what you'd make off of ppc in a day.

Most people usually prefer PPC, as well as the visitors and the website authors. In pay per sale, it looks like the person who sells the product wins and the website author loses as they get less than 10% of the product's price. Is pay per lead when the visitors enter information such as zipcodes, e-mails, and such? That could be pretty decent.

Aren't there PPC and PPS combined? I think for those kinds of things the PPC rate is lower, but I'm pretty sure they do exist. I'd prefer PPC over PPS, definately, but sometimes the PPS rate is so high that you make the same with it as you do with PPC.

I prefer pay per click becasuse not many people on the net are willign to pay or make a purchase, most can with the intention of finding free stuiff, so you have to captizlise on that and allow them to click on links that will earn you income!
