Hi,

I don't sell anything on my site but thought I would try to make enough money to cover the hosting. That's why I am considering some affiliate ad's on my site. However there is such a huge range of web affiliate programs now available how can you find the most high profit yielding payouts? Is amazon or barnes & noble worth joining? Suggestions or ideas welcome. thanks

Affiliate programs don't really pay that well because you nee to make the sale before you can get the cash.
If your site has just started there would be no initial users to even want to buy it in the first place. Try a CPC or CPM engine for this.
