Hi,

Has anyone here running an ecommerce site noticed if their sales increased by allowing visitors to choose a language to view the site. I am thinking about paying to have my 6 page site translated from english to spanish in hopes of capturing more international vistors and possibly more sales.

Tiene cualquier persona aquí el funcionar de un sitio del ecommerce notado si sus ventas aumentaron permitiendo que los visitantes elijan una lengua para visión el sitio. Estoy pensando de pagar hacer mi sitio de 6 páginas traducir de inglés al español en esperanzas de capturar vistors más internacionales y posiblemente más ventas.

I don't run an ecommerce site, but I don't think you should pay to have your site translated. you can usually/find a cheap or free online translator or software to do this for you.

It is a good idea. I geuss it all depends on what your site is about, but if it is relevent to them, then it can be a great idea. As said above, I think there is a few sites out there that have a Translator based in there site where you can translate slabs of writing for free. I'm not sure how accurate it would be, but I geuss its worth a look around.

But of course who are you tragetting? Unless you find that from your log records there are a high number of people coming from a specific site, then it maybe wise to translate it, if not then it may not be worth the money or extra effort.
