Well the fastest way if to put up Google Adsense and then wait for people to click on it ( of course there are other ways to get revenue other tha waiting :P )

Well I wouldn't say its the fastest way, but its ONE of the ways to make money on the net. Its not that easy as it sounds, just to wait for people to click on it, you need to first get traffic to your site. So unless you have a well developed site, you may not make that much money at all.

Google is not really the only one, there are lots of other around the place that are worth looking for.
But like Timme said it would need you to have traffic first.

If you have low traffic its best to go for a PPC like google as one click can cover thousdans of views

If you have millions of views a day, then you have to see your click throughs. If its high then stay with PPC if its low try a PPM engine.

If you really want to maximize Google Adsense, I suggest you get a lot of traffic, that way you could earn a few hundred in a month easily.

My friend put AdSense on her little blog, which doesn't get much hits. She's had it up since January and she earned hardly $50 bucks.

I don't suggest AdSense unless your site has tons of hits.

Its hard work getting your site to make money for you.
Unless you have a very very popular site, you wouldn't be able to get much off it.

Thinking of making millions? Maybe if you have a whole server rack running only one single site.
Microsoft got a server room the size of a few football fields for your information....
