Default What do you do for a extra money?

Spill the beans, we want to know what you do on the web for a little extra cash when you need it. I think it's a little more interesting to hear about less than full-time opportunities, because some of us also have full-time jobs.

I do the following:
1) I have a few websites, 1 of which (a hobby site) nets about $100/month in advertising and about $50/month in product sales.
2) I do some marketing and programming freelancing.
3) I post for pay.
4) Sell extra junk on ebay with an occasional investment (like selling Free After Rebate deals).
5) I take advantage of 0% interest credit card deals and plop the money in an ING account to collect interest.

What do you do?

well mostly I trace people although it is a part-time job - it feels like its moving into full time at the moment.

You should really consider selling a service on the net as the website doen't take much time to set up as you have no product to sell just your time. I have taken advantage of a few webamsters who have posted on message boards looking for some extra work i.e. installing scripts for me for $10 or submitting my website to directories when I've not got the time.

I suggest you do this, find out what skill you can market and then post a message on a few boards looking for some extra work. someone will take you up on it.

^Good advice. Stick with what you know, maybe add a twist to it, and sell it. That's what I do with my websites, and by freelancing.

Currently I'm learning as much as I can about money management and investment opportunities. My goal is to make money with my money, at very little risk.

Anyone else have anything?

I'm trying to make a little extra with my big project: Webmasters Palace.

I'm trying to make it a site full of content for webmasters and webmaster related people. And then hope to earn a bit out of advertising and affiliate sales! perhaps get a forum one day!

The rest I earn by writing articles, posting for cash, Designing WebDesigns ( which is my favourite ), and projects management, like being hired by a website and tell them what they should do to increase traffic/revenue/appeal etc! not earning much, around $25 - $100 a month now

I was wondering if you could tell me a little more about "affiliate programs"? I've been hearing about them a little bit, and I'm just not exactly sure what they are. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

here are the 3 types of affiliate programs

1) PPS "Pay per sale" you offer a product on your website or link to one and when someone buys it you get a % of the sale. $20 product , you get 30% = $3 / sale.

2) PPL "Pay per link" you get paid per lead you generate. Usually something like a visitor from your website goes to theirs and emails them or completes a form or signs up. i.e. $0.50 / lead

3) PPC "Pay per click" you get paid per visitor that goes from your website to theirs. i.e. $0.10 / visitor

Hi there Sonic, I am also a freelance graphics designer. I would be interested in seeing some of your work, would you be able to show me some?

what does "post for pay" mean? Do you get paid for posting letters or do you mean online notice boards pay you to contribute? Do they actually pay out?
