Default New to making money online?

If your new to online marketing or looking to start I thought I would share my story of how I was introduced to it as it might help you out.

The idea was first shown to me at one of those investment seminars, you know the ones that have people sell you their money making idea. There were two people selling internet ideas. The first was buying and selling domains, the second was setting up affiliate sites. Both wanted $4k so I passed. Later down the track I was introduced to another couple who taught you how to buy and sell using Flippa. The advantage with this concept was that rather than building a site, you bought a site that already had traffic and was making money. We took the plunge, learnt how to do due diligence and eventaully bought a site. It was making a few dollars which was great. Since then I have learnt a hell of a lot about the net and I'm still learning.

For any newbies I highly recommend looking around on Flippa for a already up and running site, start small and build you way up.

Good luck

I agree, flippa is pretty good to get started off. You pretty much cut the learning curve in half since you can get something that already earns. Only issue is, if it's earning money, the site won't be cheap.

The first one I bought was only $130 it wasn't making much money. It was a basic wordpress site and as it was cheap I didn't mind using it to play around a bit.

I've bought sites off flippa for $200 that were duds, I've also gotten some for $50 that doubled my profits within a week. It's very touch and go, you need to be careful on there. Set yourself a budget and don't go over with it. Don't buy anything over $1000 unless you know what you are doing.
