help to get me started

i wana instal some sort of linux on my 166mhz old comp that would run like a web server
since the comp sux ill need the most primitive linux version that wount even run desktop
i was told that linux can be just like MS-DOS
so first i need you to help me chouse a version and then help me were to download



then if you could please just give me a warrning if this is gona get complicated cuz i want it realy simple
my buddy told me he programed his trough a tutorial in 4 howers......
so can you help me
