Another Linux Question

I know, I know, I probably sound stupid for asking all these questions, however I like getting opionons on these type of subjects before I base my decision.

Why should I use Linux as my operating system?
What are the pros and cons?

Since I tend to play a lot of computer games, why would I want to install Linux for? since a lot of the games pretty much don't work on Linux.

If you can provide me some insight, that'd be great.

I can't tell you why you should run linux other then the stability. You know you can have a dual boot system if you wish to explore with linux.

I would use Linux for a webhosting environment but for the desktop, stick to Windows.

If your more into gaming, then its better that you stick to Windows, runs much better for games. Linux is more stable then Windows however, its better used for dedicated webhosting etc..

To date are there any high end games that are for the linux Platform or at least ported into it?
Maybe things like NWN or maybe Need for Speed?
