Log into FTP as root

How can I enable the root user to log into FTP? Its irriating because the normal users can't do a lot of things that the root can. But is this dangerous?

Meaning if you open this... You have one more publicly known port for them to attack :P
Not really advicable.

Yes it is a bad idea. ftping as root is insecure, there are better more secure ways of manipulating files as root.
